Dr Omair Hameed
I have always been fascinated with the way our skin works, having had personal experience with acne during adolescence and adulthood. Acne is a very common condition in young adults and all those who suffer with it know first-hand the significant psychological and social impact that it can have on an individual, even when it is active in a mild form. Knowing from personal experience how disheartening living with acne is, I am very passionate about ensuring that my patients get the best available medical treatment for their condition.
Dr Hameed graduated from the Royal Free & University College Medical School (UCL) in London in 2007. He completed his Postgraduate Medical and Specialist Dermatology training across London and Essex, and undertook a Dermatological Surgery & Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellowship in Oxford. Dr Hameed has been working as a Consultant Dermatologist & Mohs Micrographic Surgeon at Royal Free and Chase Farm Hospitals in London since 2016. He is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, the British Society of Dermatological Surgery, the Royal College of Physicians London and the Royal Society of Medicine.
