Dr Antonia Lloyd-Lavery

Consultant dermatologist

Having successfully treated many patients with acne, from teenagers to those approaching middle-age, I have seen the very significant impact this common condition can have on a person’s self-confidence and mental well-being, particularly when multiple treatments have been tried and have been ineffective. Seeking medical help early on before potential scarring develops can be crucial. The main aspect of my work as a dermatologist which gives me the greatest job satisfaction is helping people to improve their skin condition and seeing the positive impact this can have on other aspects of their lives. I always ensure I see patients as individuals with their own unique skin problems and concerns, and I work closely with them to help tailor their treatment to be as effective as possible.
